Marian and Liam, some places stay in your heart long after you leave... Cuach Cottage is one of them.
From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The tasteful decoration, the light-filled kitchen and dining room, and the ever-changing view over the little river and surrounding countryside created a peaceful atmosphere that we will never forget.
This beautiful corner of Connemara gave us unforgettable memories: walking through the wild landscapes of Connemara National Park, adventurous fishing trips to Lough Fadda and the remote Lough Beaghcauneen (with a few amusing tumbles in the tall grass along the way!), wonderful evening trout fishing in the cottage stream, golfing at the spectacular Connemara Golf Links, and relaxing on the breathtaking white sands of Ballyconneely and Gurteen beaches.
Thank you for opening the door to such a special place. We leave with happy hearts, wonderful memories, and a little piece of Connemara that will stay with us forever.
May the river keep singing, the trout keep rising, and every guest discover the same magic that we did.
